Paul I. Detwiler III has been named New Enterprise Stone & Lime chief executive officer, maintaining his titles of president, secretary and director, but vacating a chief financial officer post. He will oversee an integrated aggregate, ready mixed, manufactured-concrete, asphalt and road-building business with strong Pennsyvlania and New York presence.

He succeeds Donald L. Detwiler, who will continue as vice chairman of the board, a post held since 2011, and as a director, an appointment dating to 1972. The company has also named Albert Stone senior vice president and chief financial officer, joining New Enterprise after 15 years in the latter capacity with Aggregate Industries. The appointments continue a “management transition to the next generation of family members,” affirms New Enterprise Stone Chairman Paul I. Detwiler, Jr.
